Ladder updates.

I've tried to play as much as I can in the last 3 days and I am now rank 6 in Platinum! I am also starting to get Diamonds. =) My first Diamond league player gave me a lot of bm because I was better than him. He also continued to harass me after the game. Scrub.

I have 34 wins and 22 losses in the last 2 weeks and I am pleased with his. I know I can do better seeing as I am now continuing my run with Terran.

I hope to get Diamond league on Tuesday because Tuesday is the ladder reset so hopefully the placement game should promote me! =)

I am going to play heavily to ensure that I get that promotion I deserve on Tuesday. Thankfully the Christmas holidays start this Friday so I can ladder for longer now. ^_^

Hell, it's about time.

It bloody well is time. I'm getting my ass into gear and playing ladder everyday. It kick started with a chat with my Dad and Saber's birthday. (Friend in Mixed Fruit - 17) http://www.mixedfruit.org/forum/index.php

I discovered that Saber (Master league) just turned 17 and it was a surprise to me seeing as I thought he was 20+. This gave me even more evidence that I can be that good if I put in the time and the effort. It has given me motivation to get to his level and surpass it.

I then spoke to my Dad about how I envy young players such as Saber, Pokebunny (16 and pro) and Illusion. (15 and pro)
He then told me that I was ladder scared and that I can be that good if I put the time and effort into ladder games. He is correct in the fact that I am ladder scared. I suffer from a small amount of ladder fear that is enough to make me second guess laddering sometimes however I took all of this information in and played ladder that night seeing as I accepted that I have a small amount of ladder fear. I am more at ease now that I have accepted it seeing as I always wanted to brush it aside because I didn't like the fact that I was.

Getting there now. ^_^

Had a couple of ladder games.

I had 2 ladder games yesterday. Not as many as I would like but it was heading into the late hours and I also have school the next day.

I player a TvZ first, which I lost, however I then went on to play a TvP which I won. I watched some of ST_Bomber's play as well to give me some idea as Terran and it helped a lot in my TvP.

Currently rank 26 in Platinum, I was rank 18 2 weekends ago but I didn't play the next weekend seeing as I was just too lazy. I did however play many games with practice partners so it's not too bad. I will ladder this weekend if I feel up to it. =) I most probably will ladder seeing as  it's about time I got out of Platinum and into Diamond.

I've chosen my race. (Again)

I have finally chosen my race that I am going to play. Terran. I've played T for a quite some time before anyway so I'm pretty much just going back to my race after a very, very long time of not having them as my main. I guess I felt that I needed a break from T and to have a go with the other races. I feel that I have benefited from this choice seeing as I know how to play the other races to a better standard now. But anyway, I am back as T. =)

They fit my play style: I like to harass and cripple the enemy's economy. I then begin to be viewed as a "typical OP T" as a QQ'er would say. But I don't mind that. The more I make my opponent cry, the better.

I used to be a more than decent Terran player. I mean, one doesn't like to blow their own trumpet but I set up a pretty good ladder record as T. They got me to Platinum league as well. I'm aware that Platinum isn't the best league in the world, however I think that the leap from Bronze-Platinum league is a big difference in skill in which I can reflect on to see how much I have improved.

I almost, *almost* reached Diamond league with Terran before I decided to have a extended break. Yeah, I'm a complete douche. My extended break was for absolutely ridiculous reasons. (/facepalm) But all that is "fixed" now so we'll brush that under the carpet.

I will try my hardest to become Diamond seeing as the Christmas holiday is in almost in reach. =) I am very excited. I will be getting my new gaming gear for Christmas! =) I will be getting a Logitech G500, Microsoft Siderwinder X4 and a really, really good Corsair surround sound headset that my father has kept secret from me. I think that's what I'm getting, anyway.

To conclude, I wish you readers gl & hf in your ladder games as well as Merry Christmas and a happy new year! My new years resolution is going to be to ladder like a boss.

Extra shout-outs.

There are 2 more people that deserve a shout-out: my Mum and Dad. They also support me in my ambition to become a pro gamer however I feel that my mum does not fully approve of it but I could be wrong, she seemed pretty excited when she saw that I was casted on YouTube.

I am grateful to them for not giving a blunt "No" in my ambition like some other parents would.

My Dad is pretty much all for it, he would LOVE to see me play in major tournaments because he loves to play and watch SC 2 so he knows what it feels like meaning that I can share my excitement with him. I have 2 brothers that are older than me (In their early 20s) so I haven't really had a brother to talk about StarCraft with like Day[9] however I can still talk about games to one of my brothers which is cool.

Shout-outs.

This post is a shout-out to those that have helped me through StarCraft II and to those that are deserving.

First of all, I want to give a BIG shout-out to Mixed Fruit Gaming. http://www.mixedfruit.org/ We are a free coaching community and the members that have kindly coached me to Platinum are MFCeon (founder of MF), Dzerzhinsky and Invincible.

Other people that totally deserve a shout-out is VolkanAthena, this awesome guy has practised with me countless times to improve mutually which I am grateful for. He also supports me in my ambition to become a professional which always makes me feel happy and determined. ^_^

MFKaztec has also practised with me countless times so I am very grateful to him as well. We have also played in quite a few tournaments and have had some pretty cool games in tournaments.

Pottifar is a player that I met when I first joined a clan, it was called "Brotherhood of Destruction." It is a Diablo based clan that had a SC branch as well however clan members were very in-active so I left seeing as I wasn't going to gain anything while being there. I have kept in contact with Pottifar since however he hasn't been online for awhile. :( He also practised with me a lot and helped me out with any RL problems that I was facing so I am very grateful to him.

Thanks people. <3

Battle.net is ridiculous.

It seriously is one of THE most QQ forums I have ever seen in my life. A high leagued player can put a good point with evidence on the forum and get flamed from someone who plays a different race because it doesn't go down well with them simply because the topic backs a valid point for another race. Most of the time QQ Zerg players and some P just go on there and flame the Terran, even though he has a valid point with evidence. They just jump on the bandwagon and QQ about Terran. I mean, don't sit there QQ'ing for the whole time, actually do something to overcome whatever the problem is. Terran could be removed from StarCraft II and players from other races would still whine and QQ about T.

This part of the community frustrates me sometimes. They're just complete idiots that destroy the community and don't help E-sports in anyway apart from when they bought SC II.

If you actually face a problem head-on in SC II and do not proceed to QQ to hide how bad you are at certain parts of the game, then I gladly shake your hand.
